What is the trial class?
Learning at EnglishMania starts with the trial class. After the trial class:
a) You’ll be able to decide if this new way of learning is interesting and convenient enough for you.
b) Based on your initial skills and knowledge (to be assessed by our teachers during the trial class), one of our conversational programs will be recommended to you.
How long does a regular class usually take?
A regular class normally takes up to 40-45 minutes. While trial classes are for 30 minutes only.
Do I need to use a webcam during a class?
Web cameras are not used during classes. Collaborative online whiteboard where a teacher and a student can work together with presentation materials is used instead of web cameras. This approach allows to focus the student's attention on materials of a lesson. Additionally, this will minimize the volume of data being transferred and will help improving the quality of the sound and visual materials. However, the camera could be turned on at the beginning or at the end of a class, so the student can “personally” meet the teacher.
What language do the teachers speak?
Our teachers only speak English. This is a great advantage as it forces you to communicate, think and construct sentences in English.
How often do I need to study?
Students are free to schedule and choose the number of classes per week that suits them. You can take as many classes per week as you want, however, it is recommended that you take at least 2 classes per week to achieve consistent improvement.

All EnglishMania teachers are TEFL certified.
How soon will I notice results?
It depends on the student’s initial knowledge and frequency of his/her classes. In general, very positive results are achieved by our students within 10-20 classes.
How can I cancel a class?
There is no charge for cancellations, providing we are notified 12hrs in advance of the scheduled class. Example:
A class that is scheduled at 2:00pm GMT on Oct 2 should be cancelled no later than 2:00am GMT on Oct 2. You can cancel a class via [Your Profile] section.
In the event 12hrs notice is not provided, EnglishMania withholds the fees for that class. This measure is necessary for proper planning of the EnglishMania teacher's work load in order to satisfy the learning needs of as many users as we can.
Can EnglishMania cancel my class?
In the event of force majeure such as natural disasters, internet or electricity outages etc. EnglishMania may have to cancel classes. The refund credit will be applied to the student's account within 2 hours of the moment the cancellation occurred. And the class can be rescheduled according to the student’s availability, at no additional charge.
What if a class got interrupted due to a technical problem (computer/headset failure, Internet outage etc.)?
Don't worry! The refund credit will also be applied to your account. You will be able to reschedule the class to a time that’s convenient for you and at no additional charge.
What if I’m late for a class?
EnglishMania will attempt to contact you via Skype; if we have been unable to do so during the first 10mins of the scheduled lesson time, the student will be considered to be unavailable. In this case, the class will be cancelled and costs will be withheld by EnglishMania.
Which timezone should I use when scheduling a class?
All timings are GMT/UTC.
How do I pay for classes?
All payments are processed via PayPal to ensure security.
Do I receive any certification after I complete my course?
All students receive an EnglishMania electronic certificate upon completion of each level. The certificate is permanently stored in our international online Database and can be accessed at any time by entering the unique ID/URL of your certificate. For how long can I use my paid classes?
All purchased classes are valid for the period of 6 months (180 calendar days) since the moment of payment completion. This applies to all payment options/subscriptions except for the "Unlimited plans" where the validity period is 30 calendar days only.
